Cooper Rush and the Cowboys have done it again.
Dallas survived another week without Dak with a 23-16 win over the New York Giants, the Cowboys’ second victory in as many weeks with backup Rush at the helm.
Rush was solid, Kellen Moore praised Twitter (for once), and CeeDee Lamb went from goat to hero.
Here are some of the national reactions to the Cowboys victory:
Zeke runs like he’s 300lbs and people hate trying to tackle this man

It won’t show up on the stat sheet, but Cooper Rush is throwing in some pennies tonight. His receivers let him down.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb had too many drops last season by his own standards. It’s a protracted problem.

Eli: “He dropped it. And he dropped it.”
He takes the pose of the cobra of surrender.
A take that needed to be made.

Cooper Rush needs to stop hitting his receivers in the hands

DeMarcus Lawrence has 2 sacks in the 1st half. As a public service, we refer to 2 quotes he made before this game.
Has NY’s offensive line improved?
“Everything will be fine with us.”
Do you still refer to Daniel Jones as little Eli?
“Glad to see little Eli again too.”

Sorry, CeeDee Lamb. But that’s a reason to return No. 88.

The Giants RG owe Micah Parsons a Father’s Day gift.

Zeke Elliott, with excellent balance and leg training, stays on his feet long enough to find the end zone.
Touching the Cowboys.
Great response from Dallas.

Cooper Rush better be careful or he’ll have to play QB for the Carolina Panthers.

Cooper Rush and Kellen Moore know something about each other that neither of us does! This Thang works for real for real! Cooper Rush ballin bruh
—Marcus Spears (@mspears96) September 27, 2022
CeeDee Lamb sounded like a WR1 on this record. Must be consistent, but terrific response from him. A credit to Lamb.
— Michael Gehlken (@GehlkenNFL) September 27, 2022
We do a lot of Kellen Moore in this space. But he called a strong game tonight. Cowboys running the ball, they shot deep and he stuck with CeeDee Lamb, especially when it mattered. 8-1 p.m., 8:30 a.m. remaining.

I’m proud of you Kellen Moore. I have to admit, I’m proud of you

The #Giants requested waivers from Cooper Rush from the #Cowboys in 2020 and then cut it. Twice.
Out of the NFL for a month before Dallas re-signed him after Dak Prescott was injured that year, Rush is now 3-0 as a starting QB after throwing for 215 yards and a TD during of tonight’s 23-16 win.
— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) September 27, 2022
With tonight’s win, Cooper Rush is now 3-0 as a starting quarterback and became the third quarterback in franchise history to win all three starts of his career, joining Roger Staubach (1969-70) and Jason Garrett (1993-98).
